General elections are essential for decision-making in a democratic government and determining a nation's direction. The election process in Indonesia faces challenges, including voter data authentication, time-consuming voting, result validation, and ratification. The 2019 election experienced disputes due to controversial result announcements, resulting in Constitutional Court involvement. To improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the general election process in Indonesia, the study proposes using Information and Communication Technology, such as Near-field communication (NFC) and blockchain. Implementing these technologies can lead to a more efficient and effective general election process
